This was the 3rd robot that our team built for the 2019-2020 Skystone season. The objective of this robot would be the emphasis on a simpler package that could both stack block effectively and cycle stones to our alliance partners. This was accomplished by our collector and depositor package. On the robot if the claw is completely closed, then the stone is restricted from entering the rest of the robot and allows for quick intake and outtake of stones. However, if our claw is open, the stones are permitted into the robot and allows the drivers to manipulate the stones onto the towers. Another highlight was the use of calculations on this robot. The team planned the vertical lift to be rated for a maximum of lifting 5 pounds of force. This allowed the team to swap out a servo for our horizontal extension to a motor for wicked fast extension of stones to better allow our drivers to stack stones.
