You should use supports for the watering can and the lid. Add supports under the spout and under the handle if you want. The lid needs supports under the top brim and the little cross on top. Taking the supports out from under the cross will be annoying, but you have to use them for the print to work (at least, I needed to).
I did not paint this thing, I printed in white PLA. I would recommend coating the watering can in epoxy, especially if you decide to paint it, but it is not required for the watering can to work. Coating the can with epoxy will probably make it last longer if you also use PLA plastic because PLA is biodegradable
Print the watering can and lid right side up, if you want to downsize the watering can, you will have to make the handle thicker because it is already pretty thin.
