We3 Drill Head Rat

This is a kit-bashed model based on a creature seen in the 2004 DC Comics/Vertigo series "We3" by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. In the comic, small domestic animals are being experimented on and turned into killing machines. One scene depicts a group of lab rats with various appendages replaced with power tools being able to rapidly construct a jet engine by themselves.One rat in this scene has a power drill for a head.

I have been unable to find any exsisting models based on this work, so I figured I'd attempt to create my own.

This is very simply a model of a rat with the head supplied by a model of a power drill I was able to reduce to just the drill head.

I hope to go back and add the antennae and housing seen in the comics page, and I would hope other makers out there get to work on making the other creatures in the series.
