This is an enclosure for a 20x4 LCD display (2004A) with an I2C interface. It is controlled with a sonoff board, which has been upgraded with the tasmota firmware.
It also has an opening for a small motion sensor (AM312), so the display light only switchs on, when I'm standing in front of it.
For controlling it (means getting the weather data from an internet service and formatting it to fit properly into 20x4) I'm using a simple Node Red flow.
(More about the electronics and configuration I wrote in my blog

On the right side where the sonoff board sits is a small notch on the inner wall of the enclosure. This is a bit of extra space for a cable soldered on the bottom side of the board to get 5 volts for driving the lcd display. As I wanted the cable to come up on the right side without getting close to the parts of the board where mains is connected to.
