I turned my webcam into a document cam with adjustable height.
I printed the nut at 104% size due to the tight tolerances on the model.
I use PLA, but I think any other material would work as well.
Used a rubber band to keep the webcam in place and a small box filled with paperclips to counterbalance the whole thing.
I added a photo of my wood prototype just to show the improvement in usability.
Update 12/20/2022
I improved the base and created a small bucket to hold materials for a counterweight. I also redesigned the cord management and feel like it does a better job of keeping the webcam cord in place, but also still adjustable.
