Welding Boom

boom to attach wire feader to. leave the power unit on the top of a part shelf so it's off the shop floof and attach the wire feader to the top. i split the wire feader in two and located the controls on the top section of the tower for easer acces to the controlls. you can have the small 45lb spool of wire on the head with the wire feeder as well as a large drum (600lb) of wire located behind the boom. all of the wires and gas lines fit inside the top tube for a smooth look and the counter balace is filled with concrete. this unit show is the manual version and can be raised and lowered with a wrench or a air rachet, impact gun ect... a motor can be attached to raise and lower this as well. there is an adjustabe brake on the axel stub to allow for the right amout of tension and the feet are adjustable to ensure the unit is level. looks good and works well.
