Weybourne Station is a heritage railway station located in Norfolk, England, on the North Norfolk Railway, also known as the Poppy Line. It lies between Sheringham and Holt and serves as one of the main stops along this popular preserved railway that runs for about five miles through the scenic North Norfolk countryside. The station was originally opened in 1901 by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway (M&GN). It was built primarily to serve the nearby village of Weybourne and local military camps, though it’s actually located about a mile from the village itself. The M&GN line was once a vital cross-country route connecting the Midlands with the Norfolk coast, but like many rural lines, it was closed to regular passenger services in 1959. Today, Weybourne Station has been beautifully restored to reflect its Edwardian-era appearance.
