A simple angle guide for freehand knife or tool sharpening on whetstones. It has 10, 15, 20, and 25 degree angles. 50mm x 50mm, this will fit either parallel or diagonally on many standard stones, allowing it to be used for guiding both the left and right sides of a knife if you sharpen without switching hands when switching sides. Great for learning the feel of different angles when starting out, or helping to set a new bevel with consistency. Some generalized guidelines:10 degrees for high carbon or powdered stainless steel knives15 degrees for filet knives or putting a microbevel on high carbon/powdered steel knives20 degrees for Western kitchen knives25 degrees for cleavers Profile prints with 0.16mm layers for a slightly smoother surface when using a standard 0.4mm nozzle.Example pictured printed with black PolyLite PETG.
