UPDATE 25.05.2017
improved version incl. 23.5mm boreholes and wider opening for motor wires. Chamfered and more stronger design. Original 123D Design also included.
UPDATE 02.08.2016
- Uploaded a new V2 version with optimized holes for motor wires.
This is a simple motor mount for an HobbyKing "Wicked Wing" flying wing.
Mounting recommendations:
- Designed to be "slided" onto the wing, with minor pressure. Just use some Epoxy or other glue of choice on the big flat upper and lower surfaces to make a rock solid joint.
- In case you are gonna break this thing (maybe by using straight propellers, instead of folding ones) please make your thoughts on the gluing topic, to may be able to remove this mount without destroying your wing.
Technical details:
- Line of thrust is 0°
- mounting plate is 40x40mm
- no holes included in the design, you just need to drill your own
- opening holes for motor/ESC cabeling included
