wide notched arrow nock

This is a wide notch arrow nock.
It is made to be printed by an FDM printer on the flat side.

Print two to make a complete nock.

Due to the shape of the nocks notch, the notch acts as a tactile guide as long as the length of the nock is not much longer than the depth of the notch.

And the shape of the notch translates the force of the string into a torque which aligns the rotation with a margin of about 60 degrees each way.

For me, this printed well with polypropylene on a flat PEI bed without tape.
Three 0.5 mm parameter shells with 20% infill.
And a first layer speed of 5 mm/s
