This is a wind up car that goes approximately 25-30 feet on one full wind. PLA can be used for the spring, but stronger filaments like PETG or ABS or ASA will give you a distance of more than 30 feet if you desire. This model uses a coil spring that is wound up and then attached to a 1:27 gear ratio to release energy in a more controlled manner. Use hot glue for assembly if necessary.
