We had a set of "automatic" roman shades that stopped working. Unable to find a matching replacement, I instead designed this to convert it into a pull-string blind.
In my case, there wasn't an existing hole in the blinds for this so I wound up cutting a space with a Dremel and a cut off wheel.
Additional hardware:
1x M3 35mm screw to retain the pinch wheel and separate the drawstrings (to avoid tangles). Depending on the application, this may be enough to retain the latch body in the blinds.
Optional: 2xM3 mounting screws to hold the latch in place when pulling down.
