Window Shade Hanger

I bought a window shade that didn't come with brackets. It was probably stupid of me not to check for these ahead of time (they were listed as NOT included), but then I kind of think it's dumb that they'd even sell the shades without including simple brackets that can only cost pennies to begin with.

But I quickly realized I own a couple of 3d printers and someone on Thingiverse might just have what I need. I found the extensions designed by lgfaler and they were almost, but not quite perfect. I didn't need extensions, I needed the L brackets themselves. So a little time on Tinkercad and here you go.

While I was at it, I made a little clip that fits (too snugly) on the bottom over the rod and a little plumb to match that could be connected with a piece of string. This makes pulling the shade down from the "all the way up" position easier for shorter people.

Note you may need to make the space bigger in the clip to get it to work for you. I managed to just sand it to fit.
