A horizontally rotating wind turbine with eight cones and a weather vane. The entire model rotates on an M8 threaded rod. The weather vane is secured at the bottom with an M8 lock nut. The turbine itself rotates on a hardened nail (diameter 1.2 mm, length 23 mm, head diameter 4 mm) mounted at the tip. Inside the turbine, there are two ball bearings with an outer diameter of 22 mm, an inner diameter of 8 mm, and a height of 7 mm. The same type of ball bearing is also used in the upper element. The cones are mounted at the center using M6 threaded rods (length: 26 cm), each secured with two M6 lock nuts. The individual components are connected using 13 BT3x16 SHCS screws. All parts were printed in ASA, as it offers strong weather resistance (especially in summer), and then spray-painted in various colors. ASA is probably not strictly necessary—PETG will likely work as well.
