I found the original model supercool, however I saw 2 areas of improvement:

a) I had no idea, how to insert and fix the proposed tip of a biro to allow smooth rotation of the rotor. That why I choose to simply use a screw. However, it turned out to be very hard to screw in the screw well centered and vertically aligned. Thats why I used TinkerCad to insert a hole in the top of the rotor
b) I found completing the pyramid with parts of paper not really "appropriate". Thats why I created 3D-files for the decoration and wings. I used https://www.prusa3d.com/de/produkt/pla-lithophane-filament-1kg/ that feels and looks like parchment paper :-)
