Wire Shelving Connector Set, Includes Hinges

These connectors fit wire shelving with a diameter of 3.8mm, and print without support. They provide for a cleaner look and more customization than the original round connectors included. I have also made hinges and snap closures to allow for folding and portability of shelving units, or addition of doors. When used in this way, if you are transporting loaded shelves, I strongly recommend reinforcing all corners with zip ties to ensure structural integrity. I designed the snaps and hinges to include zip ties for extra durability, as well as an extra zip tie slot in the snaps to ensure the shelves stay closed during transport. There are 2 models included for the snaps, one with a small thumb ramp to ease opening for those with less rugged hands and one without for the strong. Due to the limitations of FDM printing you will likely have one or 2 connectors break at the layer lines while installing, so I'd recommend printing a few spares.
