Wire Spool

I purchased 22 awg stranded wire x 10 meters long in several different colors and wanted a small spool for each color. Version 3 of the spool has 50mm OD flanges and 41mm flange spacing. The End Cap has a small recess, which accepts the center post of the spool and makes it easy to align and glue the two pieces of each spool. If carefully wound, this spool should hold 20 meters of 22 awg.

The files I used for my wire are numbered “1” in the attached files

There is another design for a spool with 50mm OD flanges and 48mm flange spacing numbered “2” which may be useful if you have a longer or a heavier gauge wire.

And a third design with 60mm OD flanges and 41mm flange spacing numbered “3”.

Heavier gauge wire will required the holes in the flanges to be slightly enlarged.
