A simple tool for straightening aluminum wire up to 3mm diameter, or copper up to TBD diameter. Just wrap the wire at both ends and pull until it stretches a bit. I learned this technique ~15 years ago from a German synth DIYer with the Youtube username Mik. His channel appears to be gone now.
