This is a small desk light based on ws2812 ledstrip. its controlled by a wemos d1 mini. it needs an 5 Volt external power supply from at least 1,5A for normal use.
for the lampshade i used white tpu filament in vase mode. if you dont slice it into vase mode you probably end up with a solid part, waisting your fillamament.
i glued the lampshade base to the lampstand. then cut a piece of ws2812 (60led/meter) counting 70 leds. i tightly wrapped this around the rod with double sided tape, making sure i dont have overlap to avoid shorts. i soldered the wired to both the wemos and the power supply. if you dont know how to setup and wire a wemos d1 mini to a ledstrip, go find tutorials on this first. things WILL break if you wire it wrong. the wemos fits into the bottom of the stand and can be covered by the bottom cover. To setup wled in an interesting way create a 2d setup with a matrix of 5 x 14.
