Work Light - Yellow

This portable yellow work light was sold on eBay and used three included 18650 batteries. The work light underperformed. This document describes a re-engineer of much of the work light. The rebuild makes it brighter and adapts it to work with Makita 18V LXT batteries. The rebuild elevates the light’s performance to a higher level and is finished with a 3D printed enclosure for the new electronics and the Makita battery fitting. To make the work light brighter, I replaced the original LED module with a low cost 50W COB LED module. This new COB needed to work with my Makita 18V LXT battery, so new electronics were integrated into the design. For those interested in part or all the workings, I've included a document describing the design and wiring. My print is made in PETG 1.75mm 3DFillies orange filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. I hope you can find this design useful, too.
