#Worm Gearbox for Robotics
This is a 3d printed worm gearbox that I designed using FreeCAD for my robotic arm. It is still a prototype, but I intend to improve upon it.
__Features:__
* It is a worm drive.
* It has a gear ratio of 10:1.
* There are four parts: the spur gear, worm gear, enclosure, cover.
* Uses standard servos and electronics, making parts readily available.
__Materials & Tools:__
* 3d Printer[I used Creality Ender 3 v2.]
* Filament
* Hardware - MG995 or MG996 servo, 12V DC Power supply, 3mm screws.
__Note :__
* The servo you are using should be modified for 360° rotation.
* Few holes should be drilled up.
* Few parts should be sanded up

__Printer Settings__:[I used these. Not necessary you should too]
* Infill: 20%
* Supports: Yes, for specific parts.
* Layer height:0.12 mm for both the gears and 0.16
