It was designed for different purposes - charge laptop from battery or charge battery from other power supply, also for supply power to anything through dc cable.
Easy to assemble - solder parts on table, then put everything together into box, only dc's should be soldered after all.
Warning, for this box it is necessary to desolder screw terminals from WZ3605E board.
