I have made some improvements to the design to make it fit tighter on the print head. Harbor Freight dial indicator mount for X1C. It's recommended to wrap the sides in tape or a similar soft material to prevent sliding and create a very snug fit. Some gorilla tape or electrical tape should work fine.
