Your printer must already be very accurate These fittings are more-or-less push-lock.

Want to keep the weight of your heavy bed off the motor bearings? Want to bear the load in a more appropriate location? Never fear! Thrust bearings are here!

I used 2x 16mm x 5mm x8 ID thrust bearings. Screws optional. THe motor cap/base is a tight fit as is the bearing cup.

Place cup on motor, place bearing cup in recess on motor with cup facing upward.

Insert thrust bearing into cup (grease it first).

Place your Z coupler on top and jam that sucker down tight. Fasten it to the motor shaft when it is being pressed downward. I recommend installing these on the ground to prevent bending the 2020 profile.

Bam presto, load transferred to the motor case, which is much stronger than the motor bearings.
