This thing is a 3D-printed case for a replacement handheld microphone for the Xiegu x6100 QRP radio (it should also work for the Xiegu X5105, or G90 radios). The new mic is greatly simplified from the original mic. It has only PTT functionality and none of the other buttons or LEDs of the original mic. It will fit the original mic cable, but in my case I also replaced the original mic cable with a thin CAT6a cable (from Amazon). The weight of the original mic and cable was 150 grams (5.3 oz) and the weight of the new mic and cable is only 50 grams (1.75 oz.). In addition, the new mic and cable will pack into a smaller space which is handy for portable operations (SOTA).
