The Xiranthos are ancient colossi said to have existed long before the first kingdoms of the Twilight Woods. These monstrous guardians resemble gigantic insects, their bodies covered in layers of moss, leaves, roots, chitin, and dead wood. Entire ecosystems grow upon their backs.
With immense leaps they are capable of crossing vast distances, each landing shaking the earth beneath the forest canopy.
Travelers speak of a low, droning hum heard before their arrival — and within the Twilight Woods, that sound means only one thing: the forest has chosen to defend itself.
