XT60 is by far my favorite lipo connector. The single issue I have with the connector is that I have not found a female XT60 connector that can be be mounted to something. I do not like having battery leads dangling out of my multicopters. I want the connectors to be mounted properly on the frame.
The physical shape of the XT60-connector makes it difficult to make a good holder for it. There is next to nothing to hold on to to prevent the connector from being pulled out together with the battery contact. Since I have not found any holder that I like I have made one myself. My design is for a compact holder that actually manages to provide a steady grip by utilizing the only gripable surface available on the connector: the square cuts on the sides at the bottom of the connector.
The holder should be printed with a relatively high infill so that it does not collapse when the screws are tightened. 75-80% should be fine.
If you want to keep the weight down as much as possible, yo
