XTool M1 10W Alignment Spacer

This is a spacer to help align you materials in the XTool M1 10W laser engraver. For optimal accuracy and minimal material waste, it is recommended to align your material with the top-right corner of the work area. Based on my test, positioning the material in this way significantly reduces distortion caused by the overhead camera, ensuring greater precision when manipulating elements within the software. The alignment error, as demonstrated in the attached photos, is consistently under 1 mm, confirming the effectiveness of this method. The right side of the spacer rests against the wall of the engraver, while the top wall rests against the lip that the removable plate slides into. Plate 1 contains a 12 mm tall version to accommodate the height of the triangular prisms.Plate 2 contains a 5 mm tall version to reduce risk of the tool head hitting the spacer.
