This is a Y shaped fitting to go into the end of a 1" Schedule 40 pipe. Originally designed to fit a 1" schedule 40 speed rail in the TV/movie business it also fits 1" schedule 40 PVC pipe. There is a hole in the middle which adds to the over all strength (by printing layers on the outside and inside).
"Y fitting.stl" is the STL file. This may load laying on it's side and needs to be reoriented standing up to print. I tried printing on its side to use the layer orientation for extra strength but the round part that goes in the pipe is not round after you pull the supports off..
"Y fitting 2 pieces.gcode" is the file I use in my printer to print the parts. This file prints two "Y" parts at one time.. You don't have to change any settings, just load and print. It takes 16 hrs 6 mins to print. It for PLA material. I have a Prusa i3 MK2 printer and this file was created/sliced with the original Prusa Slic3r software (a new version just came out).
