Before steel, before plastic, before anyone even invented the concept of "warranty," there was this: the Benchy carved straight out of solid rock, the way Fred Flintstone would build something without a trip to the hardware store (which didn't exist in Bedrock anyway). The cabin is wrapped in a spotted animal hide, tied down with hand-knotted ropes, because in Bedrock decorative graffiti was provided directly by the local dinosaurs. The chimney is a massive bone, probably from a Brontosaurus who didn't have an easy life, and the bow shows off a carved prehistoric bird head, standing guard like the family Dino, just with less drool. The entire surface has that rough, hand-carved stone texture (or hammer-carved, still very Bedrock), with greenish ropes wrapped everywhere holding the whole thing together. Literally. 🧩 Print Specifications Model height: 150mm (taller than the stack of plates Fred breaks every episode) Layer height: 0.16 mm (more precise than Fred's work at the quarry) Infill: 10% Lightning (hollow inside like Fred's wallet after overtime) Supports: yes (even in Bedrock you needed a crowbar to hold things up) Brim: optional (just to keep it from sliding like Fred on Barney's banana peel) Material: PLA matte white (later painted sand color, like everything in Bedrock) Print time: about 9 hours (less time than it takes Fred to yell "WILMAAAA") PLA used: about 180 g (light as a club, but a lot less dangerous) 🖌️ Recommended painting technique after applying the spray primer, lay down a base coat with light sand/ochre acrylic marker over the entire hull, then add a dry brushing pass with dark brown over the raised stone texture to bring out the cracks and grain. The ropes should be painted in matte olive/khaki green. For the bone parts (chimney and details), use a cream white slightly dirtied with a thin wash of diluted brown, to give that "well-used bone" look. No glossy effects: keep everything matte to preserve the feel of raw stone and natural materials.
