This is a RAM mount type ball that can be attached to the control panel for a Yaesu FTM-400D mobile ham radio. In all honesty though, it can be screwed on to anything so that you can mount whatever you want to any RAM mount that takes a 1" ball. The Yaesu control panel uses an M5 machined screw, but anything of similar or a couple mm larger size should work. Highly recommend printing with ABS. I'm not sure how it would fare with PETG since the compression it must take to be secure in a mount is quite significant. Don't print with anything less than PETG though since most people I assume use RAM mounts in their vehicles and motorcycles. Softer filaments like PLA just won't keep shape in the heat.
