Yet Another FT817 PowerPole adapter. Inspired by the windcamp etc versions that have been out there for many years.
This is a stalled design I have been working on for many years, there are some manifold errors which I need to find and fix sorry.
The intention is to put a Zener diode and a fuse holder in there for reverse polarity protection.
What sets this apart form the others is, the housing interlocks with the hardware of the FT817. There is more room inside where the jack plugs into the radio, protecting the motherboard of the radio... if you drop the radio then there is no risk of damaging the socket. It interlocks with the corners and the mounting post.
Also, the main improvement is the lid which helps bring the PP away from the radio making it much easier to plug the power cable in.
