Yankees Nightlight

I was looking for gifts for a nephew who is a huge NY Yankees fan. I thought PzaforRza's idea was really cool, but the wiring for two separate lights and switches was more than I wanted to deal with. I ended up building my own from the same three sources. A final detail I overlooked was the LED needed a bigger heatsink than would fit in the ball's stand, so I built my own. The heatsink is a piece of 1"x1/8" aluminum bar stock cut to length.

I underestimated the painting. Hand painting every stitch one at a time....
