Yard/Meter stick calipers

Turn a simple Ace Hardware meter/yardstick into a large set of calipers.

I used a measuring stick from Ace, but any other similarly sized stick should work. The fit is pretty tight at first, but with a little use or additional scraping/sanding the pointers should move easily enough.
