Yarn holder

Additional supplies needed: 3 or 5mm magnets - cylindrical or ball, 5mm metal dowel pin slightly rounded (optional), sand for base

A yarn holder that unwinds yarn from a cake or skein steadily while you knit or crochet. Multiple pendulums fits 3 or 5mm magnets for different yarn weights, print multiple pendulums for easy colour changes or switching between projects.

Base designed to be paused during print at approximately 13mm height and filled with sand for additional weight.

Magnets can be placed in pendulums, arm or both, as an example:
For 250g yarn: 5mm ball magnet in arm, 5x5mm cylindrical magnet in pendulum
For 100g yarn: rounded metal dowel in arm, 3 5x2mm cylindrical magnets in pendulum
For 50g yarn: rounded metal dowel in arm, 2 3x3mm cylindrical magnets in pendulum

All pendulums fit both the large and regular size arms except the large-5mm pendulum which is too tall for the regular arm.
