Yarn Minder

A desktop double yarn minder designed to allow your yarn to spin freely as you knit or crochet. It can hold yarn for two separate projects, or for one project using two types of yarn. The base also includes built-in trays for storing any small accessories you may need.I have ideas for future accessories, such as a clamp to secure the yarn minder to a table and an additional riser to hold four yarn cakes. Printing InstructionsThe riser is designed to nearly max out the build capacity of a Bambu Labs P1S or X1C, with dimensions of 250mm x 250mm x 10mm.On the P1S, there's just enough room for the prime line.On the X1C, the calibration lines will need to be disabled, relocated, or removed quickly before the print starts.Print SettingsAdaptive layer height is enabled for all parts to ensure smooth round-overs.Three wall loops are used on the riser to increase rigidity and reduce wobble or sagging when holding large yarn cakes.Aside from these, the m
