My budget laptop does not fold up 180° but I wanted to use it as an elevated 2nd Screen in my CoronaOffice. So here I present my own idea of the stand, quite robust and usable for ca. 135° opening displays and a thickness of ca. 15mm aptop bottomm part.
Please note that my laptop is quite a lightweight with a robust plastic cover. I have no idea wether other models withstand the momentum on their casing or if they may be damaged.
You will need 2of each part - Bolt and spacer. Just click them together.
I printed the parts in PETG from Easyprint, they came out quite well.
I used some adjustment for super-fast printing on my Predator - I printed with a line width of 0.8mm on a 0.4mm nozzle with a layer height of 0,3mm. I recommend this video for more information to this (German, not mine but I like it): https://youtu.be/c2UbA_3c_zs
I decided to print with supports anywhere to get the slot good at the spacer ends.
I also added the STEP files for you to adapt to your n
