Makes
An outdoor housing and wall bracket for a Raspberry Pi 1 Model B and a V1.3 NoIR camera.
Why this one?
Needed an outdoor camera, Had an original Raspberry Pi Model B and camera module. Wanted something weatherproof, durable and simple, with a ball mount.
Fasteners needed for assembly:
8 x M3 nuts
8 x M3 bolts
3 x M5 nuts
1 x M5 bolt
A piece of acrylic or glass for lens cover. Cut to size. 49.8mm x 49.8mm X 2.5mm.
Used hotmelt glue to mount the camera board due to lack of tiny nuts and bolts, but the holes are there.
Before assembly:
Drop the M3 nuts into recesses in top and bottom shells. Tighten them in position with a bolt. Secure them with a bit of glue as they tend to fall out. Remove the screws. It will make assembly easier.
The top shell slides over the bottom shell.
Self vulcanising rubber tape works nxa to seal up the cable entry hole and makes nice plugs.
