This a very sturdy spool holder with easy to adjust size. It uses 608z bearing such as those found in skateboards and inline roller blades. The rods that support the filament are 8mm linear bearing rods normally found in 3d printers. The linear rods support the filament and also give the roller structural support. You should be all set with two linear rods going through the 608z bearing. But in the event that you want more support you can use the couple of holes right next to the cavities that hold the bearings.
