A 1-layer 50x50 sheet takes roughly 6 minutes to print.
(This is an improved version of the Z-Adjust Plank that I have since deleted.)
This is a thing I made for adjusting the Z-Adjust value on my printer. After changing nozzles you have to adjust how far the new one is from the print bed so it prints correctly. My approach to doing that is to print these sheets over and over again as I narrow in on the correct value. I also write on them with a sharpie so I can tell them apart.
The included 2x STL files that imitate the default setup on my Prusa printer.
- They are both set up as 50x50mm with a 0.20mm first layer and 0.15mm other layers.
- 1 layer version (recommend this one. it prints faster and shows problems better.)
- 2 layer version (a little more substantial when printed).
Note: Sample image was printed on a textured bed with a basic white filament. You can see the bed texture through the sheet because it's only 1 layer, the top is actually smooth.
