Working on a project to have my 3d printer power off after a print.
I have a BL touch installed, so I had the original z-stop switch available. It will be used to control a power relay that will turn off the printer when it is pressed. I needed a way to mount the limit switch to the top rail so that when I finish a print and raise the z-axis to 250mm it will trigger the switch, kill the relay, and turn off power to the printer.
The stock z-stop bracket was close, but not quite long enough and in the wrong orientation. I used it as a template to create this one. There is enough play in the slots to adjust the height to accommodate different print bed thicknesses while using 250mm in the g-code still, but have you remember to adjust the switch when swapping build plates.
