For those having the problem of Left Side build plate that drops when Z motors are not powered.
The challenge for levelling the bed before printing was the Left Side build plate could be lower than the right by a few milometers after homing all axis and wasn't easily corrected.
I created a simple add on that can be screwed to the bed Z plate that already has a threaded M3 hole for a limit switch plunger.
My practice now after home Axis, is manually raise the Left Side Z motor till this meets the frame above. In my case the bed is level at 41.5 mm from the frame on both sides.
Until we can have dual Z limit switches or auto bed levelling that can compensate a few milometer change in slope.
