I like teaching tech’s idea for a Z stop but I wanted a larger knob. It's a larger knob than I could fit on the Z stop as was designed by teaching tech. The other thing that I wanted that I couldn't get using the teaching Tech Design is it is I wanted to do away with the screw that mounted the upper block.
I extended the portion of the upper block that locked on to the X carriage. Then I used a little bit of glue instead of a screw the result is a far more solid mount mount for the thumbscrew.
I did not design the knob. I have not been able to locate the original design file source source who designed it so that I could give proper attribution.
I lengthened the switch holder so that the switch would be held out where the knob would push it.
