No more dangling cables...
First you need to activate the 5v pin coming from your printer board, depending on what you have it might just need some jumper settings. The type B connector is gutted from printer cable, trimmed to match connector length, bend it wider after inserting those wires and gromet shown above, this will keep it from sliding out. Use m3 screws to secure the cover. Vent is covered with thin layer for easy printing, just poke it with 5mm hex or T27 torque bits.
For wiring, Pi zero has the following label to match USB pins:
1. 5 Volt for VCC
2. DM for Data -
3. DP for Data +
4. Ground or GND
Numbering with plug facing you starts on top left to right, bottom left to right, Google to verify. Step file is included if you need more space for headers etc. Goodluck, buy me a beer whenever :)
