I loved how the 3Dverkstan shield clipped snugly to your head on the sides without need for elastic, but my only issues were that the front edge that set against your forehead was only 5mm and somewhat uncomfortable. It also kept the shield really closer to your face, and you had to punch holes in transparencies you were going to use.

HanochH had uploaded the Easy 3D printed faceshield, and what In loved about it was the genius way of snap fitting the sheet in place, which removed the need for hole punching. I didn't like that you had to use a strap with it, as elastic is a scarce commodity.

So tonight, I spent some time in solidworks and used the best parts of both to come up with this. The biggest benefit is you can use transparencies, binder covers, and even 2 litre soda bottles for it, and it only takes seconds to change it out. This should help alleviate the problems of increasingly scarce materials until manufacturing can get the supply back up.
