ZX Spectrum Power Switch

Simple 2 part case to house a small switch to turn your ZX Spectrum off and on without having to remove the power plug from the back of your computer.

An opening is already included in the design for a small switch that requires a 13mm x 8mm opening.

You will have to drill (or redesign the model) holes suitable for your power plug and socket to suit.

The +ve side of two barrel connectors should be connected across the switch noting that the 48K Spectrums +ve supply is the outer barrel not the pin. The negative sides of the barrel plug and connector should also be connected. Please ensure you check for short circuits before connecting to your computer as the two barrel plug/sockets are very close together and it is recommended that heat shrink sleeving is used to prevent short circuits.
