When Dusty Hill died in 2021 a lot of ZZ Top's music was played on the radio and I remembered a lot of old great songs. My favorite was the album Degüello. Later, in the 80ies in the videos the eliminator, a car, had a leading part. The car's key chain had this zz-symbol.
I hat the idea to cast it. So I watched the videos, did a pencil sketch, scanned it and constructed it with freecad. I printed it (PLA) and finally sandcasted a prototype in pewter. I think I will do another one in silver or in brass later.
I scaled the STL, so that it was 60 mm wide, then unlocked the proportions and scaled the hight to 3 mm.
