Here is a filament filter and lubricator I made for my Printrbot Simple Metal Gear Head Extruder. The filter tends to spin on the filament a little but the tabs keep it vertical and from spinning all the way around. Simply cut a foam piece and cram it inside. Then poke your hole for filament. A drop of oil in the top every so often (I use canola) if you are having clogging issues on your all metal hot end.

Print without supports.
