I deleted the previous design mostly because it could be misleading, but also because it spent more plastic, needed and special jig and epoxy glue to be assembled and could be made smaller and more efficient.

I uploaded a new redesign of the tensioner. It doesn't have those long rectangular bars anymore, and it's way more compact. It has a reccess on both sides so it can still fit if your X 8mm rods are sticking out for some reason.
