For assembly, 1.75 mm plastic thread and M3 screw with hexagonal head are used (the nut is glued to the screw head with a superglue), but it is possible to use M3 nuts with hexagonal holes without thumbwheels. I used the thumbwheel http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1707524 with minor improvements.
